Business! Arts! Books! Jokes!

This blog will try to focus on the (un)necessary absurdities inherent in business and arts while occasionally raging or maybe meditating on the endless distractions that are interwoven into cultures. But this is assuming that my attention won’t be detained by other novelties, which is bound to happen.

Anyhow, I can only hope your quest through infinite jests finds for you that reel entertainment that you deserve. I’ll slice, I’ll dice, I'll state some views, write some reviews and, with your comments, I may even detract a few. But one thing is for sure, I’ll look for just enough attention to get some advertising revenue ... cause I'm poor and this economy is not helping. So for that I'll write to readers like you, who will go ahead and click me out of unemployment ... please.

Along with these general links between business and arts, I'll be running an online book discussion group for general readers and serious writers as an attempt to evaluate those ideas which are important to acclaimed and emerging, established and up-and-coming writers.

The discussion will seek to simplify complex issues which influence culture in order that both business and arts people can explore new possible directions.

Through a discussion of much older texts, coupled with evaluations of emerging social and cultural trends, I hope these discussions will advance what is being called at this moment: post-postmodernism, which I will talk about in later posts. For now explore this.

Also, I'll be posting lists of pages where you can view interviews and reviews on interesting people, events, and whatever else ... like a British kid who drew an enormous penis on top of his parents roof, and they didn't know it for a year. Seriously! Look!

For now, though, check out this review of Infinite Jest.
I'll be attempting to lead a hysteric discussion on this novel which will probably end in broken thoughts and jargon. Foot notes sponsored by Depends.

Right now though, I'm reading Don Delillo's Underworld. So I'll attempt to start a practice discussion to draw some people in first, and if I do draw some attention with a good word or two, then I'll move on to a few other books before I get to IJ.

So keep your eyes opened for another post, coming soon. Now this....
